Parenting and family life are where we often face our greatest challenges as well as our greatest rewards. We want to care well for our children and adolescents, but there are so many factors that can make it difficult to know how to do that best depending on their stage of development and individual needs and temperament - not to mention our own baggage as parents! In providing family therapy, we see our role as coming alongside you as parents to support your son or daughter through the various ages and stages of development. We aim to give each member of the family a meaningful voice in the process and support the family as a whole to gain understanding, interdependence, and a deeper sense of belonging and connection.

Our areas of focus include:

  • Family communication style

  • Conflict resolution

  • Collaborative problem solving

  • Boundaries and limit-setting

  • Emotional expression and regulation

  • Attachment

  • Mood and anxiety disorders

  • Trauma and chronic stress
