Coping With Anxiety Group

“Our anxiety does not empty tomorrow of its sorrows, but only empties today of its strengths” (Charles Spurgeon). There is absolutely nothing fun about dealing with anxiety. Many of those struggling with it feel alone in their experience, and that is why Harbor Christian Counseling is offering a six-week group to let you know that you are not alone. We hope this group will help members gain insight on what anxiety is, learn practical tools and interventions, and listen to and learn from others while having the opportunity to share your own struggles. The group will utilize grounding techniques, cognitive behavioral therapy strategies, and Gospel truths to help you overcome your struggles and all the annoying parts attached to it.
