Postpartum Mothers Support Group
Are you experiencing difficulty with sleeping, insomnia, exhaustion, and lack of energy? Weepiness, feelings of inadequacy, guilt, hopelessness, sadness, loneliness, anger, or despair? Uncontrollable worry, fearfulness, panic, scary thoughts about baby, or constant concern for baby’s health? These can all be symptoms of Postpartum Depression and may lead to other health issues if not addressed.
Harbor Christian Counseling invites you to join in a short-term support group that has formed to care for new mothers just like you. The group will engage in various topics related to the challenges of Postpartum Depression and will help participants develop techniques for managing the profound changes and emotions experienced after childbirth. Within a group setting, you will learn and grow together as part of a trusting community, recognizing that you are not alone in these challenges and receiving encouragement from one another as we adapt to this new role of motherhood. God’s word reminds us, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” (Proverbs 27:17)
WHEN: Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00pm. The group will begin on Wednesday, July 25th and will meet for six weeks consecutively through August 29th.
